Michael’s (Mike) successful twenty-five year-old business is a collaboration of hard work, passion and a willingness to not walk away from an opportunity. This determination is the foundation for Hartman Homes and continues to drive the company as it evolves to stay current in an ever changing housing market.
After completing his education, Mike relocated from his small hometown of Alma, WI to Saint Paul to work directly for a builder. Mike moved back to Alma and started his own business. The company focused mainly on remodeling and framing. In 1989 a friend asked him to build a home in Somerset, WI. Area realtors acknowledged his work and integrity, leading to more new home leads and the creation of Hartman Homes.
In his down time, this father of three enjoys spending time with his family at the cabin waterskiing, boating and reading. These activities help keep him balanced.
