A beautifully handcrafted, floating walnut staircase with glass and steel balusters wrap-around a modern steel pendant light fixture. The curved architectural design, as tastefully noted throughout the home, is also featured on the lower level portion of the staircase for a dramatic look. Challenges of this design included wrapping the walnut around the steel frame of the staircase, and carefully connecting the steel, wood, and glass materials together cohesively. The curved wood on the lower level portion of the staircase required a skilled hand to complete.
